Flashfoto to Sponsor and Attend Hackathon 2012

Los Gatos, Calif.--"Flashfoto is excited to be attending AND sponsoring Photo Hack Day 2012 (#PHD2) hosted by Aviary this February 25th – 26th in New York City. Photo Hack Day is a 24 hour event in which hackers and designers take existing APIs and battle to create the most innovative new use of the API. Last year over 200 developers attended the event, with APIs from 25 companies.

Flashfoto has been working tirelessly on our cutting edge automated background removal the past few weeks so that the developers attending Photo Hack Day get the best experience possible working with our API (API documentation found at www.flashfotoapi.com)

Fireside chats will be led by panelists Alexis Ohanian (co-founder, reddit), Ben Huh (CEO, Cheezburger), and David Karp (founder, Tumblr) on Saturday night.
